To celebrate our community partnership with Littlewoods Ireland in 2021, we are delighted to bring you a series of free events in April for parents, children and anyone interested in online safety education.

Cybercise for FREE this Easter break with a CyberSafeKids bootcamp, brought to you in association with Littlewoods Ireland! You can register at the links below.

The bootcamps run from Tuesday to Friday. The sessions are:

+ 30 minute sessions each day at a fixed time (Friday 45 mins)
+ for children aged from 3-6th class
+ led by an expert CyberSafeKids trainer
+ registration only
+ delivered via secure online platform We will cover topics like personal information, setting up accounts safely, privacy settings, social media and gaming, fake news, digital footprint and cyberbullying and finish on Friday with an interactive online quiz. Join Irish television presenter and radio host Laura Woods, and psychotherapist and author of the 15-Minute Parenting series of books Joanna Fortune, as they guide parents on how to help children have safe and positive experiences online, discuss hot topics such as screen time, sharing personal information and what to do if your child is being bullied online.

FOR PARENTS: To Game or Not to Game?

 

In association with Littlewoods Ireland we are delighted to be able to bring this new offering to parents for free. You can register at the link below. 

When: Wednesday 28th April at 19.00 – 20.00

With games like the latest release of hyperreal games like Cyberpunk 2077, we have come a long, long way from the days of Tank Attack, Pac Man and joysticks! This comprehensive session will take you on a tour through the often baffling world of gaming and equips you with the knowledge to make more informed decisions, by covering the positives and negatives of this now multi-billion dollar industry.

This talk is designed for parents or guardians of pre-teen and teenage children or adults interested in a general overview of the world of gaming.
