We have developed engaging workshops (45–50 minutes, including Q&A) to educate anyone who has contact with children about what young people do online and offer practical advice, support, and resources.
The Kids Are (Not) Alright: our most popular session focusing on 8-12 year olds and the online world so many of them inhabit.
Teenage Kicks (So) Hard to Beat: aimed at those with or working with teenagers, this session raises awareness of what young people are doing online and the risks and safeguards.
Turn and Face The Strange: this session takes a tour through the often baffling world of gaming, now a multi-billion dollar industry. It also looks at the burgeoning industry of AI and its results (e.g., Chat GPT).
We also run a CSR programme for organisations to sponsor schools to receive online safety education sessions.
Specialist Organisations
From time to time we run training sessions for people working with young people, including those with ALN. We have delivered to various organisations, including NYCI, DCU, TUSLA, Libraries Ireland, UCD, Blossom, An Garda Síochána and the Arts Council of Ireland.
These sessions can be tailored to suit specific needs through discussion with your organisation. Our trainers deliver our sessions in person or live via our secure webinar platform.
