New name… same aim… keeping kids safe online!

This Safer Internet Day we decided it was time for a fresh start so we’ve gone and got ourselves a new name as well as a new website. As the tagline suggests however, the fundamentals remain the same. Our mission is still to empower children, parents and teachers to navigate the online world in a stronger, smarter and safer way. This underpins everything we do whether we are in a classroom of children, or in front of an Oireachtas Committee exploring much needed policy measures.

We wanted to make it 100% clear that we’re all about kids. Even when we’re talking to parents, teachers, social workers or civil servants, the aim remains the same: to empower kids. They are at the heart of everything we do, even our new name.

Our new website is all about improving your user experience. We wanted simple, fresh and easy to navigate. We wanted it a place that parents and teachers find the help about children’s online safety they need We’re delighted with the result and hope you will be too. We’d love to hear from you so reach out and let us know what you think!
